This is my standard sandcasting flask. It's made from inexpensive construction grade 1x3's. It takes two 8' pieces to make each flask - that's a whooping cost of $3. The pins are 1/4" bolts. When the flask is put together I thread a couple of nuts on the end of the bolts to hold it together. The pieces are glued and stapled together.
